| Ms. Duck began her teaching career in Glendale, Arizona teaching 8th grade English. She taught for the Department of Defense Dependents Schools at Rhein-Main, Germany, and now at Ramstein, Germany. She also taught Adult Education courses and English as a Second Language courses for the York County School District in Virginia. | |
| Ms. Duck married David. A. Duck, Jr., a United States Air Force Officer, on June 28, 1975. They have two children; Christopher and Alison. The Duck family has lived in England, the Netherlands, Spain and Germany as well as the United States. |
